Although we had rainy February weather, 350 guests were not deterred from visiting the railroad infrastructure company at GVZ Berlin South. Repeating the increase in participation, SPITZKE was thus able to record a record number of visitors again this year as a part of Apprenticeship Day.
“We are thrilled that so many young people are interested in a professional future at SPITZKE”, said Christian Krippahl, HR Director at SPITZKE, regarding the successful event on February 18th. “We recognized early on that the key to the future viability of companies is linked to a large extent to the training of their junior staff. Therefore, we’re happy to offer young people, who live in the regions we operate in, secure and attractive opportunities with our apprenticeship program and places in our dual study program.”
The fifth Apprenticeship Day had a lot to offer for anyone who is interested in finding out about the training and study opportunities at SPITZKE. With a total of nine stations, the prospective apprentices and their parents were able to gain insight into the many different professions at SPITZKE and learn more about railroad technology, machines, and know-how. Of course, guided tours of the 5,600 m² factory hall at the location and a visit to SPITZKE’s technology park were on the agenda.
