“Future Day”/”Girls and Boys Day” at SPITZKE

Once again everything revolved around the topic of training in many areas as part of “Future Day” or “Girls and Boys Day” on April 27th. At SPITZKE, numerous schoolchildren, for example in Großbeeren and Naumburg, took a look behind the scenes of everyday working life.

On “Future Day for Girls and Boys”, which takes place every year at the same time as “Girls’ and Boys’ Day”, numerous companies, handicraft businesses, universities and other institutions open their doors to give schoolchildren from grade 6-7 an understanding of the variety of apprenticeship and study opportunities available. SPITZKE is also regularly involved, and on 27 April welcomed 33 young people from various schools in Großbeeren who wanted to find out about the company and the opportunities at SPITZKE. The Naumburg subsidiary MuR STAHLBAU GmbH also took part.

In Großbeeren, the students explored numerous stations, similar to the company’s own Apprenticeship Day, where they could learn everything about SPITZKE and the career prospects at the railroad infrastructure company and try out their technical skills. A special highlight for the young visitors was certainly the extensive tour of the training center and the workshop.

“In our view, ‘Future Day’ and ‘Girls’ and Boys’ Day’ are important initiatives that are worth supporting in terms of young people’s prospects,” says HR Director Christian Krippahl. “In addition, we are very pleased that so many pupils are interested in a professional future at SPITZKE.”
