In the early days, our company had just under 30 employees. We had set ourselves ambitious goals: SPITZKE was to become the leading provider of infrastructure services for the railways in Germany and beyond. Today, with over 2,900 people, we have a broad presence across the sectors of track, engineering, equipment/electrical engineering, major projects/civil engineering, logistics and manufacturing.
We owe our ability to pursue our path so consistently to our strategy and the many dedicated people who stand up for SPITZKE every day and make our company what it is. With passion, focusing on our diversity and what we have in common, and mindful of our great responsibility towards the railway system, we are continuing to write our success story.
Mission Statement
Together, we are shaping the future of mobility infrastructure: for long-distance and regional railways, as well as for commuter and underground railways, trams and industrial railways – from planning to execution, and from new construction and refurbishment to maintenance. Exciting challenges and a wide variety of tasks are always part of what we do: This is also reflected in our 130 job profiles and around 20 apprenticeship programmes, all brought together under one strong umbrella.
With our areas of expertise – track, technology, equipment/electrical engineering, major projects/civil engineering, logistics and manufacturing – we cover the entire spectrum of railway infrastructure services. In doing so, we are constantly and systematically developing our business areas. This complex portfolio, the close integration of our expertise and locations, and extensive investment in our technologies make us a high-performing, forward-looking employer in the industry.
As a true team, we stand by one another and ensure that everyone can develop individually within our organisation. That is why, in addition to our in-house training centre, we have the SPITZKE ACADEMY, which brings together all training and further education programmes for all SPITZKE employees. As site manager for the Equipment/Electrical Engineering division, I work with all the company’s trades on a wide variety of projects. I am convinced that optimal collaboration between everyone leads to the best possible outcome, and I am proud to be able to play my part in this.
