The New Training Year Has Started

For 95 young people, August marked the beginning of their professional journey with SPITZKE – and it started with a special highlight. The new apprentices and students from the entire corporate group gathered for two introductory weeks at the Headquarters in the GVZ Berlin South to get to know the SPITZKE corporate group in all its facets and get to know each other as well. Therefore, in addition to tours of the premises, information sessions, and discussions between company representatives and the aspiring young talents, team building was a primary focus during this time.

“We understood early on that training our own future workforce is a core element of our sustainability,” says Christian Krippahl, Director of Human Resources at SPITZKE. “Especially regarding the skilled labor challenge, companies must be more involved than ever before to offer young people an attractive opportunity with prospects. Therefore, I am extremely pleased that SPITZKE has been the first choice for so many students and prospective students for their own professional future for years.”

In addition to extensive activities for recruiting young talents, SPITZKE also places great emphasis on personal experiences relevant to the target group. SPITZKE‘s Apprentice Day attracts new visitor records every year and will take place in Großbeeren next year on February 17, 2024. Starting next season, it will also be held at individual company locations (Möllenhagen: January 20; Naumburg: January 27; Bochum: February 3; Kaltenkirchen: February 10; Leer: February 24; Buchloe: March 2; Erlensee: March 9).

We warmly welcome all new apprentices and students to the corporate group and look forward to shaping the future of rail-based mobility together.
