Up-and-coming Talents in Conversation with CEO Waldemar Münich
On Thursday (2 July), selected apprentices and dual-study students from across the entire SPITZKE group gathered in Großbeeren at the personal invitation of Waldemar Münich, CEO of SPITZKE SE. Now in its sixth year, the ‘Trainees Meet the CEO’ event was once again all about personal interaction and showing appreciation for our up-and-coming talent, who have distinguished themselves through outstanding performance and exceptional commitment to their apprenticeships or dual study programmes.
Waldemar Münich set aside plenty of time to talk to the 14 participating apprentices and dual-study students. He provided insights into his role as CEO of a group of companies with nearly 3,000 employees, whilst the concerns of the apprentices and dual-study students, along with their questions and suggestions, were also at the heart of the discussion.
‘Trainees Meet the CEO’ is not merely an occasion to recognise the achievements and commitment of the 14 young talents, who represent the 251 young people currently undergoing apprenticeships with us. This annual event also reflects the great importance SPITZKE attaches to nurturing its own young talent in an industry where skilled workers are in greater demand than in almost any other. It is no coincidence that SPITZKE regularly receives awards for its apprenticeship and degree programmes.
