SPITZKE SE took over MuR-Stahlbau GmbH
On August 7, 2020, SPITZKE SE took over the company MuR-Stahlbau GmbH. The company located at Naumburg, Germany produces among other things steel masts including accessories, safeguardings for railway and road bridges as well as buffer stops for track ends.
With the company takeover, the SPITZKE Group is expanding its production portfolio and its offering as a system supplier for the railway infrastructure. Furthermore it is also investing in the future of MuR-Stahlbau GmbH. The MuR product range complements the products of SPITZKE FAHRWEGSYSTEME GmbH in Möllenhagen, which as a subsidiary produces standard and special track sleepers, turnout sleepers as well as railway and overhead line masts made of spun concrete. In the Saxony-Anhalt region, MuR-Stahlbau is a reliable employer and was voted “Company of the Year 2019” in the Burgenland district. SPITZKE also appreciates the high quality and years of successful cooperation and awarded the company as “Supplier of the Year” at the InnoTrans 2014.
