Minister Daniel Keller visits SPITZKE

We recently welcomed Daniel Keller to our premises in Großbeeren. The Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection (Wirtschaft, Arbeit, Energie und Klimaschutz – MWAEK) of the State of Brandenburg was visiting us for the first time and showed great interest in getting to know SPITZKE.

The topics discussed between Minister Daniel Keller and Holger Schandert from the MWAEK’s Department for Industry and Industrial Policy and Torsten Völker, Chief Revenue Officer at SPITZKE, were correspondingly diverse. As this was Minister Keller’s first visit to SPITZKE, Torsten Völker gave a detailed presentation of the SPITZKE group, talking about our projects and the extensive investments that SPITZKE makes every year – in Brandenburg and, of course, at its other locations.

“Once again, it has been confirmed that nothing can replace a personal visit to the site. I was impressed by the company’s performance and well-thought-out strategy. As a continuously owner-managed company, SPITZKE is clearly very well equipped for future developments and growth. I also find the activities to attract skilled workers exemplary. In discussions with Mr Völker and Mr Pauli, I received specific advice on simplifying the procedures for recruiting international skilled workers. This is an important issue for me. Companies such as SPITZKE are a defining feature of the business location and a flagship for the region. I wish the company and its workforce continued success,” said Minister Daniel Keller, reflecting on his visit to SPITZKE.

In addition to the round of talks itself, the Minister also took the opportunity to visit the maintenance hall of the Service division and take a closer look at our large-scale machinery technology.
