After a closure period of 54 days, SPITZKE and its consortium partner DB Bahnbau Gruppe completed the track work on the high-speed rail line 1733 on time. The revitalisation of the Göttingen-Kassel line is therefore on schedule.
To date, the SPITZKE teams have conventionally and mechanically revitalised a total of 30,542 m of track on the high-speed rail line 1733; renewed 27 points; carried out more than 20 km of edge work; completed the ventilation, irrigation, and lighting for the tunnels; rehabilitated a rock slope; and much more.
Still, there is a lot to do in the coming days. Among other things, the overhead line systems will be fully inspected, individual overhead line masts will be replaced, work on the control and safety technology will be carried out, and the construction site will be cleared.
