At SPITZKE, there are over 130 different job profiles and around 20 apprenticeships. One of the most important careers is that of a track layer. Anyone who would like to experience this job up close, can do so now at the first SPITZKE CAMP.
From April 2nd – 4th, students will have the opportunity to learn all about the profession of a track layer at SPITZKE in Großbeeren. They can also immerse themselves in the exciting world of railway infrastructure. The three-day SPITZKE CAMP not only offers numerous career stations with many practical exercises related to the areas around rails, sleepers and ballasts, but also much more information for aspiring railway infrastructure professionals. Guided tours of the factory and the extensive technical park are also on the agenda, as well as lunches together and a barbecue.
SPITZKE CAMP is one of many initiatives where SPITZKE aims to inspire young people for apprenticeships or studies in the railway infrastructure industry. “It is extremely important for us to support young people with their career orientation,” says Christian Krippahl, HR Director. Furthermore, from our own experience, we know exactly what great perspectives and variety our industry offers.”
