OPEN HOUSE / APPRENTICESHIP DAYS in 2026
The SPITZKE event series “OPEN HOUSE DAYS and APPRENTICESHIP DAYS” once again lived up to its reputation as a major attraction in 2026. Nearly 1,900 visitors across all eight participating locations took the opportunity to learn about our company and the exciting career prospects in the rail infrastructure sector.
“We are very pleased that we were able to spark interest in the career opportunities in our industry once again, especially among young people. This is particularly rewarding given the energy invested by the many colleagues involved,” says Christian Krippahl, Director of Human Resources at SPITZKE. “The strong attendance clearly shows that rail infrastructure is no longer a niche topic and that our many future-proof professions continue to be attractive.”
SPITZKE’s event series “OPEN HOUSE DAYS and APPRENTICESHIP DAYS” offers interested visitors the opportunity to learn about career paths and training opportunities in the rail infrastructure sector. This includes hands on activity stations, demonstrations of equipment in use, and direct interaction with skilled professionals, students and apprentices. In 2026, OPEN HOUSE DAYS / APPRENTICESHIP DAYS took part in Großbeeren, Möllenhagen, Kaltenkirchen, Naumburg, Bochum, Erlensee, Leer and Buchloe. We have already begun planning the OPEN HOUSE and APPRENTICSHIP DAYS for 2027.
