On September 7-8, 2021, decision-makers and experts from the railway industry met at the 7th Railway Forum Berlin – the leading European conference for railway infrastructure companies. SPITZKE once again had participated with various speeches. In terms of content, the forum was divided into four main topics, which are also important to SPITZKE:
On September 7, Mark Fisher, the chief technology officer (CTO) of SPITZKE SE, opened the forum with a speech about the development of the railway system. His keynote speech was entitled “Acceleration of Railway Infrastructure Construction: Learning Experiences from Complex Large-Scale Projects”. When it comes to major projects, the railway infrastructure company can draw on many years of valuable experience. You will find the presentation here for download.
Dr Alexander von Lieven, head of the Equipment/Electrical Engineering Division, and Torsten Voelker, chief revenue officer (CRO) of SPITZKE, took part in the discussion at this important industry event. Together with leading managers from Deutsche Bahn AG, they talked about “Digitalisation and Networked Supply Chains in the Railway Market” as part of the procurement round-table discussion.
The Railway Forum was designed as a hybrid conference. In addition to the approximately 1,700 participants from more than 50 countries, interested parties could also participate virtually.
