After already exceeding the 1,000-visitor mark in 2024, the Apprenticeship Days and Open House events once again set a new record this year. Across all eight participating locations, more than 1,400 young people, parents, and professionals visited SPITZKE to learn about local training and career opportunities.
“We’re extremely happy to see that our event series is drawing more and more interest from the public,” said Christian Krippahl, Director of Human Resources at SPITZKE. “The strong turnout shows that SPITZKE is no longer an insider secret when it comes to apprenticeships and career changes. We’re seeing that the career prospects that we, along with the entire rail infrastructure industry, offer are becoming increasingly attractive to young people again. That’s great news, especially given the major challenges our industry will face in the coming years.”
In addition, the 2025 event series attracted significant attention from both politicians and the local media.
The Apprenticeship Days and Open House events in 2025 took place in Großbeeren, Möllenhagen, Kaltenkirchen, Naumburg, Bochum, Erlensee, Leer and Buchloe. Preparation for the 2026 dates is already underway.
