In 2022, SPITZKE will once again do everything possible to offer young people attractive and secure career prospects. To accomplish this, the railway infrastructure company SPITZKE will invite students and their parents. During the Apprentice Day they can learn about the company’s extensive range of apprenticeship opportunities at its headquarters in GVZ Berlin Sud on February 19th. “Recruiting young people is one of the core issues in our industry,” says SPITZKE HR Director Christian Krippahl. “In order to inspire young people to start a career in the railway system, we believe it’s important to experience this working environment up close and to show all the various career prospects.”
The program for SPITZKE’s 4th Apprentice Day will therefore include numerous career-path stations with practical exercises, inspections of track construction machinery, checking application documents, rides with the company’s own locomotive simulator and much more.
SPITZKE invests a lot of energy in the training of its junior staff and has had an increasing number of apprenticeships with a high hiring rate for years. In 2021 alone, 226 apprentices and bachelor students learned everything they need to get off to a good career start at SPITZKE.
