Ballast spreading and profiling machine USP 403 ZW
Track-laying – Profiling
The USP 403 ZW reballasting machine forms the required standard ballast profile in tracks and points. The machine fills, profiles and sweeps the track. It has brush shafts for all track forms and a silo for holding ballast and a dust preventing spraying facility.
Functional Characteristics
Surplus ballast is collected in the silo (capacity: 3 m³) and is metered back onto the track as needed
Automatic traverse restrictors of the side ploughs prevent the standard track clearance envelope from being exceeded
The direction of work can be changed on paved crossings
Flexible deployment in the construction schedule
Road-rail machine
Transported on track or on a low loader
The machine is loaded onto the low loader truck or from the low loader truck onto the track using its own machine hydraulics
Automatic safety device, ATW/ATS and train radio telecommunication system
Dust-preventing spraying facility
