As a trained process mechanic (m/f/nb) in coating technology, you will work in our large workshop using partially automated systems that prepare our steel for further processing, then coat it with hand-held devices. If there are defects and errors, you will be on hand to help immediately and will handle the maintenance and repair. To ensure that work flows always run smoothly, our process mechanics (m/f/nb) work in shifts.

What you will learn during your apprenticeship
- Surfaces: during your 3-year apprenticeship as a process mechanic (m/f/nb) in coating technology, you’ll learn how to coat surfaces and make them resistant so that the wind, water and sun can’t damage them.
- Planning: you’ll learn how to carefully plan your individual work steps, prepare and monitor substances and materials.
- Variety: there are always new challenges to overcome when operating our various coating machinery, as well as during post-processing and while ensuring optimal quality control of the production parts.
- Teamwork: our experienced SPITZKE training team will be by your side to support you with your various tasks.
