Apprenticeship as a Construction Equipment Operator for Pile Drivers

As a trained construction equipment operator, you’ll have a lot to do: this includes everything from planning based on sketches, the organization, securing, loading and operation of the equipment to converting construction sites – everything is a part of your job. Even if the procedures become routine, you never know exactly what conditions you’ll be working in. This ensures you will encounter new situations daily.  At SPITZKE, for example, you will control and operate our road-rail excavators during track construction and monitor the work processes. You’ll be responsible for the care, maintenance, and repair of the machines on location, i.e., you’ll fix malfunctions and carry out small repairs.
