WSO becomes SBS
Since 20 October 2025, WARNSYSTEME UND SICHERUNGSTECHNISCHE ORGANISATION FAHRWEG GmbH has been operating under the name SPITZKE BAHNSICHERUNGSSYSTEME GmbH – SBS for short. As part of SPITZKE SE, it is thus taking the next step in its strategic development.
As one of the leading safety companies in the rail transport systems segment, WSO has been an integral part of the group for many years. This is now also reflected in the company’s name: following its entry in the commercial register on 20 October 2025, the company is now called ‘SPITZKE BAHNSICHERUNGSSYSTEME GmbH’ (SBS).
Even under its new name, SBS will continue to be the leading expert in the field of safety for construction projects and railway operations, building on the extremely positive development of recent years. The management team led by Axel Scherer and Alexander Müllrick looks forward to continuing its trusting cooperation within SPITZKE Group and with its customers and partners.
