MuR-STAHLBAU becomes SPITZKE MAST- UND STAHLBAU
As of yesterday, 29 September 2025, MuR-STAHLBAU GmbH has been operating under the name SPITZKE MAST- UND STAHLBAU GmbH (SMS). The long-established Naumburg-based company has thus taken the next step in its strategic development.
The Naumburg-based colleagues have been part of the SPITZKE family since 2020. This is now also reflected in the company’s name. Following its entry in the commercial register, MuR-STAHLBAU GmbH is now called SPITZKE MAST- UND STAHLBAU GmbH – SMS for short.
Under this name, the subsidiary of SPITZKE SE will continue to be the first point of contact for everything related to mast and steel construction. For many years, the (former) MuR has been an important partner to the railway industry and a reliable employer, and will continue to be so as SMS – especially with further investments in new technologies and jobs planned for the future. The management team led by Frank Dörnbrack and Andras Gerth as managing directors, Mario Schirner as technical director and Dirk Eifrig as production manager looks forward to continuing the trusting cooperation within the SPITZKE Group and with our customers.
