The SSP 110 SW ballast spreading and profiling machines form the required standard ballast profile in tracks and points. The machines fill, profile and sweep the track. They have brush shafts for all track systems and a silo for collecting ballast.
Functional Characteristics
Surplus ballast is transferred into the silo (capacity: 5 m³) and if necessary is added back onto the track
Automatic traverse restrictors of the side ploughs prevent the standard track clearance envelope from being exceeded.
Basic vehicle for traction and power supply
Two vertically and horizontally adjustable side ploughs
With grading-ploughing equipment for extremely heavy duty ballasting work – consisting of two plough halves travelling in the track direction that can be lowered independently of each other
Sweeping unit including a brush, a transverse conveyor belt and a steep conveyor belt for filling the intermediate spaces and removing any surplus ballast
Ballast silo for localised filling of tracks and points
Ballast removal between the rail and rail fastenings by two rail fastening brushes behind the front axis
