Apprenticeship as a metal technology specialist (m/f/nb) specialising in construction design
As a trained metal technology specialist (m/f/nb) in the field of construction design, you’ll manufacture various steel structures. You’ll use the MAG welding process safely and follow the specifications in technical drawings. In your daily work, you’ll work in our large workshop with welding, punching, drilling and material cutting machinery and will see how your design gets more complete from day to day.

What you'll learn during your apprenticeship
- Metal and steel: during your 2-year apprenticeship, you will learn all the important steps for handling metal and steel as well as their properties. The focus will be on reading and understanding technical drawings correctly.
- Getting stuck in: you’ll learn to produce individual parts either by hand or with the help of suitable machinery by cutting, drilling or bending. These will then be welded and/or screwed together to form assemblies.
- Variety: preparation and quality control will also be important elements of your apprenticeship.
- Teamwork: our experienced SPITZKE training team will be by your side to support you with your various tasks.

- have completed secondary school or higher education, or are about to do so.
- enjoyed maths and technology at school.
