Here, our apprentices, work-study students and trainers report on exciting, unusual or even everyday things from their training or studies at SPITZKE. And there is a lot to tell: We have over 130 different professions, more than 20 apprenticeships/courses of study, our own training centre including a practical skills environment, multifaceted projects and many committed colleagues.

Our apprentice and student blog has just been launched. New topics will be added gradually, and you will be able to discover more and more. Feel free to check back and look forward to new stories, videos and insights.

Learning to develop detective instincts

The best way to develop new skills is experiencing the 'real thing'. Our apprentices went to carry out some troubleshooting on a defective control cabinet. Trainer Andreas Otto tells us what they learned and why this is also important at home.

Apprentices build siding in Leer

Our branch in Leer had acquired the railway track to which our company premises are connected. As it had not been used for a long time, it was in a dismal condition and could hardly be travelled on safely. SPITZKE's civil engineering and track-laying apprentices carried out the fundamental restoration of the siding independently and gained important practical work experience in the process.

New training track for the SPITZKE Group

The new training track not only strengthens the training in Bochum, but is also available to all the apprentices in the Group. The training management concept is to optimise the training structures at the different sites and to connect them better. The aim of connecting them is for all SPITZKE branches to benefit from each other's approaches to training by creating learning opportunities for all apprentices.
