The UST 79 S universal tamping machine is a road-rail machine. It is equipped with a three-axle road chassis and semi-trailer for transport on the road. This enables transfer independent of railway schedules, even to railway networks that are difficult to access. The machine is equipped with heavy-duty tamping units, lifting and aligning units, measurement systems, an optional front compactor, a level-directional laser and an 8-channel measurement recorder. The machine can be used on tracks and in points.
